Provinces restructure their programs often — Ontario, British Columbia and Nova Scotia all did in 2026. We list stream names and status only, and link to the official page for eligibility, because requirements change faster than any copy of them stays true.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
OINP was rebuilt on 2026-06-25. Ontario Regulation 422/17 closed all 8 former streams and replaced them with a single Ontario Workforce Priority stream, whose Expression of Interest portal opened 2026-08-04.

⚡ What a provincial nomination is worth
Streams linked to Express Entry are “enhanced”. If you are nominated through one, IRCC adds 600 points to your CRS score — effectively guaranteeing an ITA in the next round. You need an active Express Entry profile to apply to them.
